Ingredients

flour
|

1/2 C
|
dry milk
|
|
2 t
|
baking powder
|
|
1/2 t
|
salt
|
|
2 T
|
shortening
|
|
1/2 C
|
warm water
|
|
|
shortening for frying
|
Preparation
Combine dry ingredients in deep bowl.
Add 2 T shortening and mix as for pie crust.
Add water and toss together until dough can be gathered into a
ball. Drape bowl with damp
towel and let rest at room temp for 2 hours.
Divide dough into 4 equal parts.
Roll into 7 or 8 inch circle and fry.
Top with Green Chile, beans,
cheese, lettuce, etc.
