Ingredients

soy sauce

sherry
|

cornstarch

1/2 t

salt
|

1/4 t
|
ground ginger
|

pepper
|
|
1/2 lb
|
sirloin, thinly sliced
|

|
vegetable oil
|

small onion, sliced
|
|

med green pepper, seeded & sliced
|

small tomato, cut in wedges
|
Preparation
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sherry, cornstarch, salt, ginger and pepper.
Pour over sliced steak; marinate 10 min.
Over medium heat in a skillet, heat vegetable oil.
Add meat and cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add onion, green pepper and tomato.
Cover and simmer 3 - 5 minutes.
Serve over rice. Serves
2 people.
