Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

| 2 C | none | 3/4 C | quick cooking oatmeal |
| 1 1/2 C | 2 1/2 | 2 1/4 C | flour |
| 1 t | 1/2 t | 1 t | soda |
| 1 t | 2 t | 1t | vanilla |
| 1 C | none | nut meats (optional) | |
| 12 oz | 12 oz | 12 oz | chocolate chips (1 pkg. or 2 Cups) |
Preparation
In small bowl combine flour, soda and salt.
Set aside.
In large bowl combine butter, both sugars, vanilla and eggs. Beat until creamy.
Add remaining ingredients and stir until well mixed.
Refrigerate dough for at least 30 minutes
Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 - 11 min at 375 degrees or until golden brown (don't over bake)
Remove from baking sheet and let cool.
