Chocolate Cookies
Ingredients
| 1 C | sugar |
| 2 | eggs |
| 1/2 C | milk |
| 1 C | raisins and nuts |
| 1/2 C | shortening (melted) |
| 1 t | soda (even teaspoon) |
| 2 C | flour |
| 3 | chocolate squares |
| 1 t | vanilla |
Preparation
Mix shortening and sugar. Add beaten yolks and melted chocolate. Add soda to milk; add milk mixture and 1/2 the flour to the sugar and eggs. Mix well. Add raisins with remainder of flour. Add beaten whites and vanilla and beat well. Drop from the spoon onto buttered baking sheets. May be frosted with fudge frosting (I didn't frost them
