Divinity Nut Icing

Grandma New's recipe

Ingredients
1 1/4 C brown sugar
3/4 C sugar
2/3 C  water
pinch of salt
2 egg whites, beaten stiff
2 chopped marshmallows
2 t vanilla
1 C chopped nuts

Preparation

Boil sugars, water and salt until it threads or forms medium balls in cold water. Pour syrup over eggs beaten stiff and marshmallows.  Add vanilla and nuts.  Beat until smooth.
