Carrot Cake

Grandma New's recipe 

Ingredients
1 C oil
2 C sugar
4 eggs
2 C flour
2 t baking powder
2 t soda
1 t cinnamon
3 C ground carrots

Icing

8 oz pkg cream cheese
1 stick oleo
1 lb powdered sugar
2 t vanilla
1 c walnuts, chopped

Preparation

Mix oil and sugar.  Add eggs one at a time.  Sift dry ingredients and mix in.  Add carrots.  Bake at 350 degrees for 25 min to 1 hour.  Bake in a 9 X 13 pan or 2 round pans.

Cream icing ingredients and spread on cooled cake.
