Butter Cream Frosting
Diana's Recipe. Great for decorating cakes.
Ingredients

1/2 C

Crisco
|
|
1/2 C
|
butter
|
|
1 t
|
clear vanilla
|
|
4 C
|
powdered sugar (1 lb.)
|
|
2 T
|
milk
|
Preparation
Cream butter and Crisco. Add
vanilla. Gradually add
sugar one cup at a time, beating well on medium speed.
Scrape sides and botom of bowl often.
When all sugar has been mixed in, icing will appear dry. Add milk and beat until light and fluffy.
Keep icing covered with a damp cloth until you're ready to use
it. Makes 3 cups.
